The effect of foot reflexology on post- electroconvulsive therapy headache at razi psychiatry training center 2021

Results: The results showed that the mean score of headache ten minutes after foot reflexology massage in the intervention group was significantly lower than the beginning of the intervention.  Also, reflex foot massage significantly reduced headache in the intervention group compared to the control and treatment groups;  Therefore, the research hypothesis that "foot reflexology reduces the amount of headache after electroshock" was confirmed.  Discussion and Conclusion: According to the results of the present study, it can be concluded that foot reflexology massage can have a positive effect in reducing headaches in patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy.  Therefore, due to the high prevalence of headache in patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy, and also that foot reflexology massage is a useful, inexpensive and convenient method, it is recommended as a useful method to reduce headache in patients under electroconvulsive therapy by nurses.  Be given and used. *بعلت طولانی بودن مجاز به قرار گیری کل مطالب در این قسمت نشد*
